Hi, my name is Yasmin Bendror, owner of yMarketingMatters, a social media consultancy agency, which I started in January 2010.
Welcome to my website and my blog. Its all things social media and marketing for the small and medium business – how to dive into the complex world of social media – which I am passionate about!

Some background: I have been developing marketing strategies and programs for companies for over 20 years. Please see my LinkedIn Profile. Starting in clear-cut traditional marketing mediums, and now, embracing the new world of social media. Keeping up with the new landscape is an important part of staying in the game. So my marketing strategies and campaigns integrate social media Web platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin, blogs, Flickr, Mobile platforms), but also encompass online marketing tactics like online advertising, email, pay-per-click and search engine optimization.
I’m also zealous about planning and syncing marketing campaigns to specific goals and targets as well as keeping them within budget. Setting the right expectations for social media marketing is key!
I’m truly fulfilling my vision and passion by providing strategic consulting, in depth advice and marketing services that is hard to find and so often lacking for the small business owner.
Some personal info: I was born and raised in South Africa (and still passionate about going on Safari and saving wildlife), lived and worked in Israel and Seattle, and finally relocated to the Garden State thirteen years ago.
By day I work hard, by night, I blog and “socialmedialize” on Facebook and Twitter, play with my family and our two cute Yorkie pups, and sometimes sleep.
