So, my daughter is in 3rd grade. She is learning how to write kick-ass stories, and she does! I thought I would share these quick, EASY tips that I got from her and – YES-  I use! It will make writing your blog so much easier, and will engage your audience (i.e your clients and customers!) and will have them coming back for more!

Remember: Create value and a reason for someone  to want to know more about you and your business.  Your readers will start spreading the word. You will be rewarded by a growing, steady loyal following that will increase organically,  It’s really that simple!

Brilliant Beginnings:

  • Begin with a question
  • Begin with a setting
  • Begin with an action
  • Begin with a dialogue
  • Begin with a surprise
  • Begin with a sound
  • Begin with a problem

Mighty Middles

  • Showing Time (first, next, later, then, soon, second, third, before)
  • Adding Information (in addition, for example, besides)
  • Comparing or Contrasting (however, but, on the other hand)
  • Showing Location (above, under, beside, in front of, next to, over)
  • Concluding (Finally, to conclude, as a result)

Exciting Endings

  • Circular Endings
  • Surprise Endings
  • End with a thought
  • End with a feeling
  • End with a memory
  • End with a question
  • End with a lesson learned

Now go forth and write!
